Institute for asthma and allergy

There are currently many institutes for asthma and allergy. A new study recently released by the Francis Crick Institute in the United Kingdom found that a protein plays a key role in regulating allergic airway inflammation. Also, the related mechanism will help find better asthma treatments in the future.

Basically, Asthma is a common chronic airway inflammation. Which often leads to recurrent wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, coughing and other symptoms, which seriously affect the quality of life of patients.

The Crick Institute, in cooperation, uses specially cultured mice in the laboratory to observe how a protein called “ABIN-2” affects airway inflammation caused by dust mites.

Also, the researchers found that dendritic cells in the lungs of mice can trap allergens in the airways and activate the immune system. If the “ABIN-2” protein is prevented from playing a key signalling role, dendritic cells will secrete more tiny signalling proteins called “CCL24”.

This protein can increase inflammation in the airways and produce mucus. Which eventually leads to severe allergic airway inflammation in mice.

Asthma, also known as bronchial asthma, commonly known as asthma, is a very common chronic immune disease in our daily lives. Allergic asthma is the most common type of asthma. It has become a chronic disease that seriously endangers public health.

Not long ago, Zhao Yong’s research group at the State Key Laboratory of Membrane Biology, Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and his collaborators made progress in the research of important drug targets for the treatment of allergic asthma.

Through experiments, scientists have discovered a new method for the treatment of allergic asthma.

What are the top specialties practiced at the Institute for Asthma and Allergy?

The incidence of allergic diseases in Finland is high and has increased in recent decades. Asthma affects 10 percent of men over the age of 30 and 14 percent of women. Asthma medication is used by 7 percent of men over the age of 30 and 10 percent of women.

Estimates of the incidence of allergies vary. According to the latest population studies, about one in three adults had allergic symptoms. The most common symptoms are hay fever and other allergic nasal symptoms as well as allergic eye symptoms.

Allergies and asthma are the most common long-term illnesses in children and adolescents. No recent study conducted in Finland on the prevalence of asthma or allergies in children.

Asthma estimate to affect 6 to 10 percent of children. Allergic rhinitis symptoms occur in 10-15% of children.

Usually, 3 providers practice at institutes for Asthma and Allergy. According to estimates by the World Health Organization (WHO), there are currently approximately 235 million people who have asthma in the world. The incidence in children and adolescents is increasing year by year.

In 2013, an epidemiological survey conducted by the China Asthma Alliance covering 7 regions and 8 provinces.

The cities across the country with a sample size of more than 160,000 showed that the total prevalence of asthma in my country was 1.24%, which was higher in Beijing and Shanghai. The survey results 10 years ago increased by 147.9% and 190.2% respectively.

There were nearly 25 million asthma patients in China in 2016. It estimates that this number will reach 45 million by 2025, including 12 million urban children.

According to the latest estimates released by the WHO in December 2016, 383,000 people died of asthma worldwide. In 2015, of which more than 80% occurred in low-income and lower-middle-income countries.

What are insurance plans accepted at the Institute for Asthma and Allergy?

The WHO recognizes that asthma is of high public health importance. The organization has a role in coordinating national efforts to combat asthma. The purpose of its strategy is to support Member States’ efforts to reduce asthma-related disability and premature death.

WHO’s planning goals are:

Carry out primary prevention to reduce exposure to common risk factors. Especially tobacco smoke, frequent lower respiratory tract infections during childhood, and air pollution (indoor, outdoor, and occupational exposure);

Improve access to cost-effective interventions, including medicines, upgrade standards. Also improves access to health care at different levels of the health care system.

What languages are services available at the Institute for Asthma and Allergy?

Currently, the definition of asthma not unanimously agreed. The Global Initiative for Asthma (GINT) defines asthma as a chronic inflammatory disease of the airway that involves many cells and cellular molecules.

Usually, chronic inflammation associate with tracheal high-altitude hypersensitivity. It can lead to recurrent wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and recurrence of cough.

Especially in the evening or early morning. At present, the use of drugs can control asthma. And avoiding asthma triggers can also relieve the severity of asthma.

Conclusion

From the above discussion, we can say that Asthma is a major non-communicable disease, common in children, and its effects can continue into old age.

Therefore, active prevention and treatment of bronchial asthma in children are of great significance to the prevention and treatment of bronchial asthma in adults.
